Hello why hasnt all lamps got distrubuted yet in this Project?
Is the price to high for the families? Have you considered to lower the price to get a better distribtion of the lamps?

    • Hello why hasn’t all lamps got distributed yet in this Project?
We distribute in a sustainable model without creating any dependency

Is the price to high for the families? This depends with target focus of the community. It can be high to those in very poor communities, refugee camps or in war torn areas. As well it is affordable to many who only need to be educated on the impact of the solar lamps. The challenge is access/distribution to them because of costs.

Have you considered to lower the price to get a better distribution of the lamps?
Yes we have considered that but we have to really separate ourselves from creating what we cannot sustain with or without funders. We are more proactive at learning the mistakes of how NGO’s do development and make the people dependent on AID. We have considered a more affordable lamp that many can afford and provided it as well.

Thank you for the questions and concerns. If there is any further query don’t hesitate to reach out.
