IMD has been collaborating with GIVEWATTS since 2012 to bring access to clean and renewable energy to people in rural off- grid areas with impactful results. We were able to impact the lives of 1, 450 people in western and southern regions of Kenya namely Busia, Amboseli and Narok respectively, helping them improve their economic outcomes as well as improved academic outcomes for school going children. IMD has been monumental in networking and opening doors to extend our impact to more families. They have also been supportive in children’s education by providing stationery and school bags for the children in the schools where we we distribute.

GIVEWATTS brings access to clean energy products as solar lamps. GIVEWATTS process has been developed into a process where the initial funding starts the distribution wheel. Our aim is to keep a balance between business efficiency and impact.

Clean energy solutions have socio-economic and environmental impact. We continuously use studies and research to calculate the impact. Use the button to read more about the impact. If you want to know your impact, please contact GIVEWATTS.
