Step 1 – Start a campaign
The first step is to set up a profile. On this you will be able to specify the reason for your campaign, and also set a target. You do this by filling in this form, and we will get in touch with you to set it all up.
Step 2. Spread the word!
You can now share your campaign with friends and family on email, Facebook or Twitter. You and your donors will be able to follow the fundraising campaign online, donation by donation, and once you hit your target, GIVEWATTS will report back to you on what the project looks like, what the impacts are. If you break the target, we will be as happy as you are!
Step 3. Hitting the target
Once you hit your target, your money is allocated to a particular project. As soon as this is done, we provide you with project details, the project workplan, and also pictures and a map of where the project is located.
If you don’t hit the target, don’t worry! Whatever amount you raise will have a huge impact and go a long way towards empowering a school child!
Once the installation has been completed, we will send you a completion report, also including videos and pictures, all on a link you can share as you want.
Step 4. Receive the documentation and follow the project
Over a two year period we will report back to you (unless you tell us not to) what the impacts are from a social and environmental perspective.
